He is survived by: his mother Patricia Riggins (Lowe); his wife Robin Riggins; his sister Kristin Conway (Josh); his brother-in-law Scott Williamson; and his nieces and nephews, Corgi, Daisy, Coon of Maine and Penny.

Memorials may be directed to the Animal Rescue League, the Des Moines Symphony or to the Civic Music Association.
