She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roger Schneider (Jeanne) and Beverly Schneider; her husband Richard Colwell; her grandson Jackson; her parents-in-law, Mary and Joseph Colwell; her granddaughter Charlotte Rose Colwell; her brother Peter Schneider; her son James Colwell (Megan); her grandson Connor Colwell; and her extended family Kathy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to St. Pius X Catholic School in Urbandale, Iowa.
