She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Marasco and Margaret Marasco (Scalise); her former husband Dr. Joe Cortese; her sisters, Francine Oatts (Everett) and Marge Shipley (Lee); and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Boyt (Jim) and Kaye Marasco (Mike).
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph A; her sons, Lawrence Cortese (Diane) of Joseph Cortese, II and John Cortese (Kathy); her brother Michael Marasco Sr.; and her grandchildren, Aimee Beall of Joseph Cortese, III, Emily Cortese, James Cortese, Kathryn Bisanti and JonCarlo Cortese. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the family will hold a Funeral Mass at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to St. Anthony School or St. Theresa Catholic Church.
