Karen M. Pauly Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen M. Pauly of Urbandale, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on April 24, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Mike; her children, Lisa Hushak (Mitch) of Granger, Alana, Steven (Patty) of Winterset and Marshall (Kate) of Ankeny, Iowa; her grandchildren, Tyler Pauly, Darren Hushak, Erin Lachen, Allie Pauly and Nick Pauly; her great grandchildren, Casper Lachen and Charlie Hushak; and her sister Mary Kay Saul-Speak (Shatzie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Iowa or to Alzheimer's Disease Research. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the USDA Forest Service for seedlings to be planted in a National Forest.
