She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Ames and Virginia Ames (Martin); her siblings, Merlin and Dan Ames; and her sister-in-law Juanita Ames.
She is survived by: her husband Victor Burgess; her pet Nala; her children, Jay Anderson (Amy) of Las Vegas, NV, Scott Anderson of Bear, DE, Amy Roppe of Greer, SC, Troy Anderson (Jamie) and Todd Anderson (Emily) of Lancaster, CA; her grandchildren, Kimberly Cook (DJ), Kiana Cauwels (Kyle), Vanessa Anderson, Britta Roppe, Kyle Anderson, Valerie Anderson and Emil Anderson; her siblings, Gary Ames, Joan Mezera (Bob), Rod Ames (Rosemary), Cliff Ames (Sandy) and Marty Ames (Jeannine); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Ames and Judy Good.
In lieu of flowers, our family requests that you follow Judi's example and make memorial contributions to your local Animal Rescue or to the Gary Sinise Foundation supporting Veterans, or just do something kind and generous for someone who could use a little extra help.
