We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2022 we had to say goodbye to John Tasler (Urbandale, Iowa). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis "Frank" Tasler and Margaret Tasler; his wife Mary; his children, David Tasler, Melanie Whalen (Jim), Darin Tasler and Michele Tasler Hearne; his stepchildren, Lori Tejeda, Tom Wilson and Scott Wilson (Sarah); and his caregiver Holly. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to donate to their favorite charities.

“I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I first met Jack in the early 80's then year's later lived around the corner from him and Mary. Jack would always stop and talk if he saw us outside. He was a soft spoken man who loved his family. I am sad that I did not see this until today. I wish I could of said goodbye. I will cherish our talks forever Jack. Peace and love to his family. We lost contact after I left Windsor Heights and retired from Des Moines Police Dept. But my memories of our working relationship and our friendship will always remain with me.
