With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jim Callahan of Urbandale, Iowa, whose life came to an end on January 21, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence Callahan and Helen Callahan (Showers); his wife Delores; his brothers, Donald Callahan and Gordon Callahan; and his siblings-in-law, Alberta Callahan, Darlene Callahan, Darlene LaFratte, Tony LaFratte and Dennis Hochstetler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwayne Callahan (Robin), Roger Callahan (Cathy), Diann Farwell (Calvin), Paulette Hochstetler and Nancy Wiedman (John); and his sister-in-law Anne Callahan. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces; and great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar St. Joseph Catholic Church (1026 N 8th Ave, Winterset, IA 50273). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to the family for a future designation.
