He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Behmer and Fay Behmer (Beachy); his children, Mark Behmer, Brad Behmer and Jane Behmer; and his sisters, Lila, Janet and Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Behmer; his stepson Steven Wilhelm of Shawnee, KS; his daughter-in-law Nancy Behmer of Polk City, IA; and his grandchildren, Kim, Daniel, Jennifer and Jonathan. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to St. Croix Hospice, Alzheimer's Association and the Wounded Warrior Project.
