We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Irene Joan Hantsbarger (Urbandale, Iowa), born in Terril, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Hantsbarger; her parents, Simon Vermie and Virda Vermie (Freel); her siblings, Mamie Kooker (Halford), Ailene Lansing (Jack), Elmer Vermie (Ann), Wilmer Vermie (Mary) and Esther Vermie; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Vermie and Raymond Duethman.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Davidson (David); her grandchildren, Philip Davidson (Marina), Michael Davidson (Beth) and Elizabeth Miller (Stephen); her great grandchildren, Liam, Natalie, Alistair, Charles Miller and Michael Davis Miller; her son Brian (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jonathan (Jing) and Kristen Pierce (Robert); her son Mark (Edith); her grandchildren, Sara Letsch and Gary (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Janine (Marina Mazur) and Matthew; her siblings, Herbert Vermie and Lillian Duethman; and also, Emma, Eliana and Nora Pierce.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec 1, 2021 from 12:30p. m. to 1:30p. m. at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home and Crematory followed by a memorial service beginning at 1:30p. m. The family requests those in attendance of the visitation and the service to please wear a mask.
