He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Reese and Dorothy Reese (Fitzgerald); his grandson Billy Reese; and his siblings, Jack (Dick Reese) and MaryAnn Reese.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barker; his children, Shane Reese (Barb), Shelly Binnette (Steve), Sean Reese and Shannon Reese (Susan); his grandchildren, Amanda Harper (Wes), Ashley Corte-Reese (Jorge), Haley, Danielle, Bryce Binnette, Charlie Reese (Erin), Chelsea and Selena Reese; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Maddie Harper, Odin Corte-Reese, Baylee and Brynnlie Reese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Des Moines Catholic Worker.
