Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorthy McIntire of Urbandale, Iowa, born in Promise City, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 87, on October 27, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie DeVore and Stella DeVore (Mosbey); her husband Charles Lee McIntire; and her grandson Shane McIntire. She is survived by: her children, Stephen McIntire (Barb), Michael McIntire (Cami Johnson) and Carla McIntire (Charles Goldman) of Urbandale, IA; her sister Betty Peterson (Rex); her grandchildren, Jill Buckner (Jeffrey), Lynn Holmes (Jake) and Jessica McIntire; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Wyatt, Ashton Buckner, Grayson Sloan and River Holmes.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be directed to Can Do Multiple Sclerosis, the Diabetes Research Institute, or Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
