She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Taylor and Nancy Taylor (Burton); and her husband Keith Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Cali Steckly (Mark) and Dr. Brandon Peterson (Jill); and her grandchildren, Zach Steckly, Colton Steckly, Reagan Peterson and Brock Peterson.

A memorial fund has been established for EveryStep Hospice's Kavanagh House.
