She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sorensen and Bernice Sorensen; and her sisters, Betsy Conoy and Jeri Crimmins. She is survived by: her husband Elmer Kolnes of Urbandale; her son Elmer Edward Kolnes (Kayla) of Spring Hill; her grandson David Kolnes (Kim); her great grandchildren, Sara, Joshua and Steven Kolnes (Sarah); her daughters, Barb Hansen (Ray) of Blue Eye and Lisa Tolin (Kyle); her grandchildren, Macy, Luke and Mike Hansen (Melody); her great grandchildren, Drew, Ryan and Skylar; her daughter Debbie Peters (Brad) of Ft. Collins; her grandchildren, Ane and Fred; her great grandchild Benjamin; her sister Carlson of West Liberty; and also, Tyler, Ava, Samantha, Jessica Beerends (Dan), Mason, Eleanor, Owen, Amy Rozendaal (Eric), William, Aaron and Ethan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
