She is survived by: her husband David Fread; her daughter Jennifer Markey (Jeffrey) of Urbandale; her grandchildren, Katie Markey-Nash (Austin) of Woodbury, Lera Markey (Patrick) of Sydney, Nicolas Markey of Urbandale, Emily Bemis (Kyler) of Urbandale, Samuel Markey of Ankeny and Allison Miller (Justys) of Midway, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Easton and Brooks Miller; and her siblings, Jeanine Wacker of Wilton, Dean Sawvell of Clarksville, Vicki Sneddon (Tom) of Wilton, Sue Bradley (Omar) of Wilton, Edward Sawvell, Jr. of Wilton and Stan Sawvell (Tami) of Wilton.
