He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Edwards and Gladys Edwards; and his son Mickel Dale. He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his children, Douglas Edwards and Diana Shepard (Patrick); his daughter-in-law Joletta Edwards; and his grandchildren, Shelby Edwards, Mickel Edwards, Reid Shepard, Nathan Shepard and Emma Shepard. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
