She was predeceased by: her parents, John O. Emrich and Amy G. Emrich (Grove); her daughter Paula Essen (Drew); her husband Paul L. Watson; and her sister Gladys Darleen Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Claudia Bertrand-Phillips (Bob), Dean Watson (Cathy) and Peggy Kellar (Randy).

Memorial contributions can be made to the West Des Moines EMS Association or to the family for distribution.
