She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Brinkman and Mae Brinkman (Schell); her former husband Joseph Schmitz; her children, Judy Schmitz (Tom Cain) of Edina, MN, Janelle Schmitz and Joel Schmitz (Donna); her husband Joe; and her sister Rachel Brown.

A memorial fund has been established We would like to give a special "thank you" to Janelle for being the main caregiver for our mother during her later years.
