Galeon Huebbe Obituary

Galeon Edward Huebbe, 64, of Urbana, died Monday May 6, 2024, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy after a long battle with Leukemia. Galeon's wishes were cremation with no services. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Galeon was born on April 7, 1960, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Duane and Ruth (Gradert) Huebbe. He married Betty Ann Pazour on June 19, 2021, in Urbana, Iowa. Galeon was a driver for ABF Freight. He graduated from Calamus Wheatland High School . He enjoyed going to the shooting range, fishing, hunting, running coon dogs, watching the Steelers, loved old cars and tractors, and spending time with family, including his 2 dogs and 4 cats.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann Reece-Huebbe, his sons, Roy Daniel (Paula) Brown of Maquoketa, Iowa, Nathan Huebbe of Maquoketa, Iowa, and his step-son James (Morgan) Estabrook of Rochester, MN, as well as numerous grand children and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and late wife, Karen Anderson.
