Dean Kaster Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2020, at the age of 86, Dean Kaster of Unionville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Earl and Ora Kaster (Richmond) of Moravia; his brothers, Don and Larry Kaster; and also Kandi Baxter.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ellen Brain; his children, Kandi, Matthew, Jan and Sheri Kaster (Jeff McDanel); his grandchildren, Trevor Baxter (Sarah), Ashley Baxter, Matthew Mikel Kaster, J. D. McDanel, Alex Leifheit and John Santafede Jr.; his great grandchildren, Gracie, Malachi Baxter, Castiel, Wynter and Zaymian Kaster; and his sisters-in-law, Marolyn Kaster, Dixie Kaster and Joyce Taylor.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held, with burial to follow at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to either Grace United Methodist Church in Moravia or to the Moravia First Responders and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
