With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Alan Schwark (Union, Iowa), born in Eldora, Iowa, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Schwarck and Phyllis Schwarck (Swanson); his parents-in-law, Frank and Phyllis Cook; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Joyce Cook.

He is survived by: his son Garrett; his wife Barb; his children, Lauren Schwarck, Jared of Union, Angie Cook of Union, Janelle of Union and Casey Guiles of Union; his grandchildren, Ava, Cash, Avery Guiles, Adeline, Laney and Corde Cook; his siblings, Lyman Schwarck of Union and Glenda Hanson (John) of Guttenberg; and his brother-in-law Richard Cook (Dawn) of Clive.

Even on Mark's final day he gave the gift of life to two people through organ donation.
