He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Minteer and Etha Minteer (Platt); his wife Bonnie Crosser of Iowa Falls, IA; his siblings, Wilson Minteer and Margaret Winters; his siblings-in-law, Marie Minteer and Ralph Winters; and his daughter-in-law Rose Minteer.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Minteer of Union and Becky McKibben (Don) of Marshalltown. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the Union Community Church and the Hardin County Farm Museum.
