He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward "Ed" and Mary Faris (Tucker); and his parents-in-law, Robert and Frances Tidman. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Tidman of New Providence, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Emersen, Ellasyn and Steele; his son Jake; his daughter-in-law Krystle of Clemons, Iowa; his siblings, Greg Faris (Sue) of Plymouth, Dick Faris (Cathy) of Eldora, Kim Faris (Nancy) of Union, Iowa and Kay Held (Denny) of Hubbard, Iowa; his aunts, Rosemary Wellman of Marceline, Zenna Faris of Conrad and Myrna Boom (Kent); his uncle Gary Faris (Joyce) of Iowa Falls, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Tidman (Pam) of New Providence, Richard Tidman (Sue) of Beaconsfield, Iowa and Denise Mannetter (Mark) of Hubbard, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
