It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daphne A Sears (Union, Iowa), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hudspeth and Lois Hudspeth (Stewart); her brother Alan Hudspeth; and her son-in-law Tim Vaughn. She is survived by: her husband Donald Sears; her children, Becky Vaughn, Joan Sears, Mark Sears (Judy) and Pam Thatcher (Jeff); her sisters, Elaine Haywood (George) and Melody Stephens; and her grandchildren, Ginna Randall (Nic), Lexi Metz (Phil), Luke Sears, Jessica Sears (TJ Johnson), Ben Vawter (Alex), Shyla Lampley (Eric), Haddie Feltes (Colt) and Mallory Vawter.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Church of Christ in Union or the Union Public Library in her memory.
