He is survived by: his children, Michael Nelson of Crescent, IA, Amber Nelson of Essex, IA and Matthew Nelson of Omaha, NE; his grandson Mason Swisher of Harlan, IA; his former wife Ronda Nelson (Reese) of Council Bluffs, IA; his close friend Sheila Roane of Neola, IA; his grandfather Mick Ring of Neola, IA; his siblings, Steve Nelson (Tammy) of Neola, IA, David Nelson of Logan, IA, Mick Nelson of San Diego, CA, Jason Nelson (Jennifer) of North Bend, OR, Justin Nelson (Jessica) of Honey Creek, IA and Ashley Reyes of Eugene, OR; and his aunts, Becky Guarino (Sam) of Beebeetown, IA and Shelly Willard of Logan, IA. He is also survived by 14 nieces & nephews.
