He was predeceased by: his brother Connor Smith; his grandfather Dennis Smith; and his great-grandparents, Eugene Smith and Jim Johnson. He is survived by: his parent Valerie Smith of Underwood, IA; his grandparents, Dan and Vicki Pratt of Red Oak, IA; his great-grandparents, Betty Smith of Stanton, IA and Alice Johnson of Red Oak, IA; his aunt Melissa Gallant of Council Bluffs, IA; his cousins, Kirsten Gallant, Amberly Gallant of Council Bluffs, IA and Dalen Gallant of Council Bluffs, IA; and also Elijah Connor. He is also survived by aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the LeRette Funeral Chapel, Inc. (1995 G Ave, Red Oak, IA 51566). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.
