It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Powell of Udell, Iowa, born in Centerville, Iowa, who passed away on April 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Allen Powell and Hazel Blanche Powell (Price); his wife Dorothy Powell; his son Doug Powell (Kim) of Kansas City; his grandson Joseph Vieth; and his sisters, Rosalie Stringfellow, Doris Cook and Marlyn Powell.
He is survived by: his children, David Powell (Sharon) of Udell and Charlotte Newman (Larry); and his daughter-in-law Kim Powell.
