She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Stumme and Lorene Stumme (Boerschel); her son Mark Homeister; and her sisters, Donna Patrie and Sharon Stumme.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Homeister of Tripoli; her children, Marvin Homeister (Patricia) of Denver, Leroy Homeister (Leah) of Cedar Falls, Leon Homeister (Judy) of Holland and Brenda Homeister of Verona; and her siblings, Marlys Biermann of Tripoli, Marian Meyer of Tripoli, Janice Tonne of Tripoli, Joyce Beck (Robert) of Nashua, Roger Stumme (Jana) of Tripoli, Diane Dann (Bruce) of Charles City, Lynn Stumme (Deb) of Plainfield and Dean Stumme (Kathy) of New Hampton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
