She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Eckhardt and Edith Smith Eckhardt; her sister Betty Eckhardt Sell of Traer; her husband Leonard Axon; and her children, Carol Buls, Norma Jean Axon and John Axon.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Opfer (Ron) and Michael Axon of Frederika; and her son-in-law Don Buls of Tripoli. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren.
