She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenz Buhr and Merla Buhr; her sons, Tracy Schulz and Terry Schulz; and her former husband Melvin Schulz.

She is survived by: her former husband Donald Neil of Tripoli; her children, Tod Schulz (Anna) of Waverly, IA and Kimberly Schulz of Coralville, IA; her grandchildren, Rachel McClung, Matthew Schulz, Jesse Schulz, Damon Schulz, Kamille Marcussen and Jonah Marcussen; her great grandchildren, Fox Cheota Schulz and Seth Schulz; and her siblings, Tony W. Buhr of Menomonee Falls, WI and Kelly Bollman of Cedar Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for later destination.
