Though Genny may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her father James Jacobsen; and her uncle Herb Freerks. She is survived by: her mother Beverly Jean Jacobsen (Freerks) of Clarksville; her daughters, Sadie Jacobsen (Alix Blickenderfer) of Charles City and Aliyah Johnson (Ian) of Nashua, Iowa; her grandson Ridge Johnson; and her siblings, Lynn Nelson (Neil Folkerts) of Waverly, Tad Jacobsen (Susan) of Clarksville, Betsy Schmitt of Charles City and Mike Jacobsen (Briana) of Penobscot, Maine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the The Family Shed (421 W Greene St, Clarksville, IA 50619).
