He was predeceased by: his former wife Beulah Peterson; his sister Marcella; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Bales, Berneta Peterson, David Peterson, Loren Cooper and Lauren Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Pittelkow (James) of St. Paul and Mary Leisinger (Tim Schwan) of Sumner; his grandchildren, Madisyn Schuldt (Ross Crim), Amber Leisinger (Isaac Hulter), Johnathan and Marissa Leisinger; his sisters-in-law, Pat Cooper and Meredith Peterson; and his close friend Violet Schuldt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to either St. Peter Lutheran Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
