David Bolte Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bolte (Tripoli, Iowa), who passed away on June 18, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVonna (Biermann) and Ralph Bolte Sr.; his son Steve Bolte; his sister Nadine Hansen; his sister-in-law Phyllis Bolte; his parents-in-law, Paul and LaDonna Shonka; and his sister-in-law Joan Meyer.
He is survived by: his wife Charleen Shonka; his children, DeAnn Maschoff (Mike) of Ankeny, Mike Bolte (Glenda) of Oswego, Teresa Hamaker (Ron) of Oswego and Brent Bolte (Kim) of Bemidji, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Alex (Jessica), Jake (Hannah), Tyler, Drew, Ellie Maschoff, Emily, Hannah Bolte, Taylor, Dylan, Sidney, Mason Hamaker, Caden and Beth Bolte; his great grandchild Atwood Maschoff; his brothers, Ralph Bolte (Judy) of Ventura and Vern Bolte (Karen) of Tripoli, Iowa; and his brother-in-law Rolland Hansen of Burr Oak, Iowa. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics or charity of donor's choice.
