He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Burger and Lena Burger; his wife Wilma; his siblings, Verona Spilker, Ordale and Leonard; and his son-in-law Neal Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Anderson (Andy) of Urbandale, Rena Jenkins of Arizona and Emily Hoegh (Monte) of ElkHorn; his siblings, Bob Burger of Wisconsin and Rose Blome of Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Helen Burger of Nebraska.
