It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Fred Henke (Treynor, Iowa), born in West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on September 29, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Henke and Margaret Henke (Bausch); his sisters, Fonda Hering and Donna Brockman; and his nephew Dennis Bintz.

He is survived by: his wife Gwen Volkens; his sons, Mark (Cynthia), Brent (Jennifer) of Bossier City and Tracy (Kristen) of Treynor; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Anna, Abe Henke, Ashton Nance, Jehna Cleary and Ricky Miller.
