She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Goldapp and Emily Goldapp (Harsch); her sons, Steven Roy Saar and Scott Carl Saar; her sister Emily Storey; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Saar, Don Kramer and Marion Saar.
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Saar; her children, Richard Saar (Debbie) of Treynor, Cary Saar (Betty) of Treynor, Jeffrey Saar (Janet) of Omaha, Jane Hausen (John) of Villisca, IA, Lisa Christensen (Brett) of Silver City, IA and Amy Owens (Steven) of Treynor; her sister Jean Kramer of Mishawaka, IN; her brother-in-law Ralph Storey of Plattsmouth, NE; her sister Karen; and her brother-in-law Gary Underwood of New York. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Treynor Fire and Rescue or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
