It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Maxwell of Treynor, Iowa, born in Thurman, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Robert and Fern Olive Maxwell (Snyder); his siblings, Claude (Lonnie), Paul and Edith; his brothers-in-law, Red Smith, Wayne Rice and Bruce Maddocks; and his nephews, Gene (Lonnie) and Scott Schaper.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Maxwell of Treynor; his son Jason Maxwell (Tonya); his grandchildren, Brennan and Addison; his daughter Julie Frey (Jared); his grandson Evan of Treynor, IA; and his siblings, Bill, Phillip, Bobby Maxwell, Daisy Rice, Sharon Higgenbotham and Sue Hammons.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Veterans organization of the donor's choice.
