Violet Speirs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Speirs (Traer, Iowa), who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Montgomery and Fannie Montgomery (Alcorn); her husband David Speirs; her grandchildren, Corey Speirs and Amy Speirs; and her brothers, Kenneth and Victor Montgomery.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Speirs (Donna) of Clarion, Russell Speirs (Sharon) of Traer, Ron Speirs of Traer and Don Speirs of Traer; her grandchildren, Kevin Speirs of Clarion and Sara O'Brien (Neil) of Traer; and her great grandchildren, Avery Weisinger of Cedar Falls, Liberty and Ella O'Brien of Traer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed towards the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
