He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McLean and Catherine McLean (Liston); his sister Mary McLean; and his nephew Michael Harmsen. He is survived by: his wife Susan of Traer; his children, Ryan McLean of Traer, Rylee McLean (Logan Hiler) of Vinton, Emily Stalzer (Ross) of Haverhill and MSgt Shane Krafka (Bailey) of Alamogordo, N. M.; his grandchildren, Ben Krafka (Maddie Elliott), Lane, Kelby Stalzer, Hadley, Fynn and Langstyn Krafka; his sisters, Cecelia Harmsen (Jim) of Reinbeck and Kathy McGrane (Dan) of Waukee; and his nieces and nephews, Tom Harmsen (Brandi), Todd Harmsen (Amy), Isabel and Keira McGrane.
A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1102 Walnut St, Traer, IA 50675). Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
