He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dorothy Keith and Virgil Riley. He is survived by: his parents, Lynn Riley and Barb Riley (Keith) of Mt. Pleasant; his children, Karrington Belle and Karver Nicholas of Traer; his wife Sami Carver; his parents-in-law, Keith Carver (Brenda) of Salem and Dee Carver of Traer; his grandmother Evelyn Riley of Mt. Pleasant; his grandfather-in-law Joyce Lasswell of Salem; his brothers, Bill Riley (Jennifer) of Mt. Pleasant and Mike Riley (Tiffany) of Mt. Pleasant; his brother-in-law Blake Carver (Carrie) of Salem; and his nieces and nephews, Ashlynn, Kaleb, Haley, Abby, Bailey, Tyler, Carter, Paisley, Justis, Jaydin, Jersie, Macie Mae, Myia, Tripp, Hunter, Jerry, Melaney and Kourtney. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Anyone who wishes to honor Nick is requested to make contributions to the Traer Fire Department, Waterloo Youth Hockey Association, or a college fund established for his children at Farmer's Savings Bank and Trust in Traer.
