It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Libbie Patrick (Traer, Iowa), born in Tama, Iowa, who passed away on March 7, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Braye and Therese Braye (Macha); her children, Richard Braye and Sharon Newburg; and her siblings, Leonard, Freddie, Melvoy, Emil, Eddie, Johnny, Stanley, Mabel Van De Woestyne, Rose Von Der Werth, Agnes Rutledge and Anna Bliss.
She is survived by: her son Paul E. Brees Jr. of Grinnell; her grandchildren, Tracey Berendes (David), Clayton Zednichek (Andrea), Eric Brewer and Tony Tompkins; and her great grandchildren, Amber, Marissa, Haleigh Berendes, Julia Brewer and Garrett Brewer.
