He is survived by: his children, Tami Kruse (Tim) of Keystone and Todd McCrary (Jenny) of Montezuma; his grandchildren, Morgan DeRycke (Blake) of Atkins, Kaylee Hanus (Troy) of Hudson, Tyler Sandfield and Connor Sandfield of North Liberty; his great grandchild Kinley DeRycke; his siblings-in-law, Judy (Steve Hook) and Randy Krezek (Judy); his nephew Ryan Hook (Carrie); his nieces, Jacey Fischer (Jason) and Jillisa Halverson (Chad); and his pet Walter.
