It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Jean Podhajsky (Traer, Iowa), born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Abbe and Irene Abbe (Princehouse); her husband William R. Podhajsky; her aunt Dorothy; her son Dennis Podhajsky; and her son-in-law Dennis McGowan (Bob Martin).
She is survived by: her children, Steve Podhajsky (Joanne) of Tampa, Jerry Podhajsky (Courtney) of Leawood, Kansas and Bonnie McGowan of Traer; her grandchildren, Andrea Rishel (Justin), Jodi Opdahl (DJ), Emily Podhajsky, Elise Savastano (Tony), Julie Trimpe (Cliff Frey) and Brian Trimpe (Arthur Breur); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Laci, Ryan, Colton, Ace, Luca, Oliver and Cora.
