It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doug Kloster of Traer, Iowa, born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on June 13, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Elaine Kloster (Immerzelle) and John Edward Kloster; his sisters, Marsha Taylor and Kathy Frickson; and his brother-in-law Tim Hare.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Lewis (James) of Waterloo, Jennifer Smith (Steve) of Evansdale and Jana Ryan of Dysart; and his siblings, Mark Kloster (Marj), Dan Kloster (Jean) and Lea Whitney (Jeff). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, outdoor plants or memorials may be directed to the family to create a memorial garden in Doug's honor.
