He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Sivertsen and Viola Sivertsen (Carstensen); his daughter Cindy Sivertsen; and his siblings, DuWayne "Monk" Sivertsen and Darrellene Lane.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Claussen of Traer, IA; his daughters, June Kahler (Jon) of Traer, IA and Karen Leahy (Adam); his granddaughters, Kayla Hand (Blake) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Kalena Leahy; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Chase and Addison Hand of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his brother Kevin Rimrodt (Kim).

Memorials may be directed to the family.
