She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Homan and Henrietta Hersleb Homan; her spouse C. Burdette "Bernie" Burington; her sister Margaret Leonard; and her nephew Rick Leonard.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Paul Dewitt of Afton, OK, Sheila Breja (John Yeager) of Elberon and Shari Avent of Las Cruces; her niece Mariette Leonard of Cedar Rapids; and her nephew Rodney Leonard (Donna) of Strawberry Point. She is also survived by three great nieces, one great nephew and one great-great niece.
