She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hanus and Anna Hanus (Suchy); her sister Marian Schoonover (Hanus); and her brother-in-law Harold Schoonover. She is survived by: her spouse Robert Engel; her children, Mary Jo Engel of Traer and Thomas Engel (Lisa) of Grimes; her brother Vernon Hanus (Dorothy) of Traer; and her grandchildren, Landon, Peyton, Madison, Charlie and Chase. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
