He was predeceased by: his father Michael McFate; his father-in-law Harold Meek; and his aunt Cindy Bidwell. He is survived by: his mother Suzanne "Sue" McFate (Bidwell) of Reinbeck; his wife Sheri Meek of Toledo; his daughters, Aubree McFate (Chris Blocker) of Toledo and Autumn McFate of Toledo; his grandson Axl Blocker; his sisters, Pam Werner (Rob) of Gilbertville and Missy Haughey (Willy) of Tama; his mother-in-law Sandy Meek of Tama; his siblings-in-law, Brad Meek (Gail) of Toledo and Kim Meek of Toledo; and his nieces and nephews, Brandon Haughey, Charity Seymour, Cortney Seymour-Slack, Alexis Meek, Kailee Meek, Natalie Meek, Olivia Meek, Breanna Meek and Blaze Meek. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
