He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Snyder and Marie Snyder (Schultz); his sons, James and John Snyder; his grandson Ryan Hall; and his siblings, Jean Schall and Don Snyder.

He is survived by: his wife Lou Dixon of Toledo; and his daughters, Joni Hall of Council Bluffs, IA and Mary Snyder of Toledo. He is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and one niece.

A memorial fund will be established.
