It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Pat McCarroll of Toledo, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Austen McCarroll and Audrey McCarroll (Gray); and his son Quinn. He is survived by: his former wife Ila Ransom; his daughter Tamara Garrido (Chris); his former wife Barbara Franklin; his stepson Jason McCarroll; his wife Deanna Dickens (Ross); his grandchildren, Rashon Burrell, Tiffany Archer, MaKayla Garrido and Makenzie McCarroll; and his stepdaughter Lisa Petersen (Daryl). He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
