He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Davis and Florence Davis (Head); his sisters, Faye Evans and Floriss Adair; his brothers-in-law, Gordon Evans, Gerald Eernisse, Larry Skala, Frank Adair, Conrad Ferneau and Richard Ferneau; his son-in-law LaVerne Roth; and his stepgrandson Matthew Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Ferneau; his children, Dawn Van Hamme (Bob) of Tama, Drew Davis of Coralville, Dana Hanson (Don) of Cedar Rapids and Darin Davis (Melissa) of Des Moines; his siblings, Marlene Eernisse of Toledo and Marc Davis (Rita) of Iowa City; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Ferneau (Melody) of Culbertson, NE and Dennis Ferneau (Kathy) of Tama. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund will be established.
